Summer Fun - Blog Hop - Digi Darla Stamps

IMAGE BY DIGI DARLA STAMPS

Hi, welcome!  If you came here from  FranCine, then you are in the right place.  If you came from any other blog, then please go back to Jackson's Digital Expressions and start from there.  For this three day hop, we are continuing our July Release Celebratioun and welcoming our newest sponsor, Digi Darla Stamps.

This year, the world gets to witness the best summer fun of all - The Olympic games in London.  I was a volunteer for the 1996 games here in Atlanta and I can tell you there is nothing that comes even close to being a part of an Olympiad.  Our entire city was transformed; and it was wonderful to watch the Torch as it made its way to Olympic Stadium, and to rub elbows with Olympic greats like Edwin Moses and Michael Johnson.  The United States Women won the team Gold in Gymnastics right here in Atlanta and I was there to see it!  And, as if that were not enough, literally thousands of people decided to make Atlanta, Georgia their home after coming here as visitors for the Olympics.

The Olympics are about overcoming obstacles and our sponsor, Digi Darla knows all about overcoming and pressing forward:
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
DigiDarla is the brain child of Kim Eskola and her daughter Emilea.
Emilea and I both enjoy creating and when the idea of creating digital stamps came up, it sounded like the most wonderful way to earn ever! There was only one problem! We are both shy and dislike the center of attention! As a way of "hiding behind the scenes" and avoiding having one spokeswoman,
DigiDarla was born!
Working with Emilea on this project has been a wonderful blessing and has stretched both of us. Emilea is a busy teen with her passion for art and training our 2 horses, piano and violin lessons, and squeezing in high school classes somewhere in between! She is also the oldest daughter in a family of 11!
You can win this image by answering the following question:  Who was the first athlete to ever score a perfect 10 in Olympic Gymnastics and who was her coach?  Leave a comment and include your answer.
