Shopping Our Stash - Missing You

Hi, Crafty Peeps,
Well, I am so proud of me because I cut into some more of my precious Graphic 45 paper.  Of course, I immediately contacted my friends, Merry and Rebecca, over at Mini Album Scraps, to see if they had anymore Bohemian Bazaar on hand....YAY.... they did!  I got this collection as soon as it was released and this is my first time using it.

Anyway, I made this Easel Card with Box Drawer from a Graphic 45 Tutorial.  It is easy fun.

I took a real "Pile It On" approach to my easel card.  Since this is a project that is going to remain in my studio, I was not concerned about leaving a space for a sentiment or personal message.

My thinking may have been a bit eclectic.  I mean, does anyone get the symbolism of the empty picture frame?  Hubby sure didn't.  I was so excited that one of the Prima Flower Packs that hubby gave me for my birthday worked here.  These pictures do not show the colors as intense as they are IRL.  Those of you who own this collection know what I mean.

This is really a nice sized drawer.  It was full of Hershey's Kisses....Oops.
I cannot be trusted around chocolate...I really can't.  The project is quick and easy so I think a few teachers will get these as gifts.

See, I really did incorporate the Challenge Theme!  I think I will put note paper in here.
Chocolate is way too dangerous!  :D)

I plan to add hand on the sides, but this project was due on the DT forum at 7:00pm.  We finished taking the pictures at 6:45 and after a little photoshop to remove the awkward shadows from the backdrop, I posted it to the Forum at 6:59pm.  I was moving so fast I didn't have time to secure my memories chipboard.  I am making a YT video after the new additions.

Thanks for stopping by!  I will be back to list my challenges and to add the BACK STORY!

Hugz,

  7. I love the colours - so beautifully bright & cheery. And it sounds like a good call on the note paper versus chocolate...well, except that eating notepaper isn't nearly as fun ;) lol!
