Can We Talk? - Jackson's Digital Expressions -Anything Goes #15

Text'n Trixie by Mayzy Art
Helllo Cardies!  Just a quick post to remind you of the Month Long Challenge at Jackson's Digital ExpressionsExpressions.  Some Lucky "Follower" is going to win a Sizzix Big Shot Die Cutting Machine.  I own  the Cameo, Cricut, Eclips, Big Shot Pro, and Epic cutting and/or embossing machines, but my Big Shot gets the most rigorous workout, especially for embossing; it just seems to do the best job!  I actually have two Big Shots (In case they are discontinued.)  Now, that should give you some idea of the condition of my craft studio.

I did something really STUPID on this card and the first person to spot it and leave a comment telling me what I did will win Mayzy Art's Around The World Special Five Pack!

Our sponsor this week at JDE is MAYZY ART  so, if you would like a chance to win 5 fabulous images from Mayzy Art, stop by and add a project.  The challenges are ANYTHING GOES and it can be any project created between JULY 1st and August 6th.   You will also have three chances to win Robert Jackson Images.  The challenge runs until August 6, 2012.

If you love Altered Art/Objects, then you definitely want to checkout the DT Projects at Jackson's Digital Expressions.  There are some really cool ideas for back to school project posted as inspiration this week.

Thanks for stopping by!  Hugz, Chana

  1. Great card, Chana! Really like the color combo and cute image! My guess is it is something about the eyes, but I couldn't be sure. Why do I say this? Because there have been times I've colored Mayzy's girls' eyes a few times, still never getting them right. Yours look fine, but it's just a thought from personal experience.

  2. Hey, Carla, its funny because I did mess up on one eye. Thought that was camouflaged.(LOL) So, you know me, you get a prize pack as well. If you have Around the World, or if you would rather choose something else, the value is $8.00.

    Keep looking, you may find the other boo boo!

  6. I love this cute card, Chana. I did notice that the strip of card stock behind the image is white on one side and green on the other. Is that the "mess up"?

  7. Hey, Sheila! Its green on both sides, that just the light reflecting of the paper. But, as they say in hide and go seek, you are warm!

  10. Congratulations, Kim, you spotted the Boo Boo. I kept reminding myself to keep the smiley faces right side up, and then, when I used the glue runner, I turned the card the wrong way. I think I have your e-mail already.

    If you want to visit Mayzy Art and select different stamps, please feel free to do so. The value of the prize is $8.00, so you may want to look at her new releases. Just let me know!

  12. Well, I noticed that one eye is blue and the other eye is white as well as the ribbon not being wrapped around both ends of the middle piece of cardstock.

    However, it is very cute just the way it is :o) {{{hugz}}}

  14. Thanks everyone for your comments. Kim found the one that I was talking about "Smiley Faces are upside down." Carla and Karen noticed the eyes. Both eyes are blue, but on her right eye, I accidentally colored her eyball brown. Couldn't fix it with out starting over and that was not going to happen!
