Tuesday Alchemy - Hopes, Dreams and/or Resolutions
I don't think I got off to the best of starts with my new team, Tuesday Alchemy. First, I misread the sponsor. I want to apologize to Guylou Inimitability the actual sponsor of the challenge. I am on Guylou's DT and I would never intentionally not use her image in a challenge she sponsors. I would also like to apologize to my teammates at TA. I am not usually so dippy.
I am so happy about my selection to the Design Team for Tuesday Alchemy. They always have interesting challenges, but in the past, I was not able to enter as many as I would like because my cards did not fit their criteria....problem solved!
I made this card for my sister who recently celebrated her 92nd Birthday. It was such a sweet ending to the year. My Sister turned 92 on December 24th and my new little granddaughter, Michaela Elise, was born on December 28th. My hope and dream is that I will have the days of life that have been granted to my sister and to my grandmother who lived to be 110 years old. I would love to be around to see all my grandchildren grow up, graduate college, get married and who knows what after that.
I also have hopes for my crafting. I resolve to do all I can to enjoy my hobby without allowing it to take over my life!
Happy New Year and thanks for stopping by!!

This is my very first brown paper bag card. I know I will be making others!
I used lightweight chipboard covered with Kraft paper so the card will stand! |
I really love all the pockets for tags on this type card. |
I added this tag and gift card holder to the back. |
