Hello, Crafty Peeps!
Getting back into cardmaking is definitely challenging. I am just going to put that out there!💖
For my second toe-dip into the creative cardmaking waters, I decided to create a card for our challenge at 613 Avenue Create. As always, we have the Anything Goes part of our challenge. Our Optional Twist is a favorite of mine!

I did a deep dive into my stamps to find my favorite "coffee" themed set. The blister card is long gone so I can't say who manufactured it. It comes with a female image, five fun sentiments, and a coffee ring stamp. In one of my other sets, I found a coffee bean stamp (didn't even know I had that one.)
I thought a little gingham would give the card that warm, cozy kitchen feel, so I used one of my favorite Mirtillamente digital mini-paper paks.
I had to play around with the construction of my layers, The gingham print is visually strong and when used as a full layer tends to overwhelm the rest of the design. In the end, I decided that a slight strip peeking through at the top and bottom would render the best graphic impact. To pull more of the paper into the design, I cut a small heart and secured it with some twine and a little bling.
I stamped the image onto a piece of designer paper and paper pieced the robe onto my image. My coloring is still a little rough, but most of that is due to the condition of my Copics. I really need to get some new markers!
THANKS FOR STOPPING BY!
