Shopping Our Stash - Leaf Me Alone! One More Brown Bag Project

Good Morning, Crafty Peeples!
My Love affair with the little brown lunch bag continues.
This week at Shopping Our Stash, we challenging you to Use LEAVES.  Good Luck!
The fabric swatches in this design were created using natural muslin and Tim Holtz Distress Stains.  Sizzix Life Moments Die And Stamp Set was used for the leaves which were stamped on vellum, colored with Distress Markers.  Rock Candy Crackle Distress was applied as well as a little distress stickles for texture.   Stash Items: Fabric Swatches, Cardstock, Vellum

I am excited about this Tri-fold Vertical design and have a few other concept ideas on my drawing board.  The key to successful design will be composition and color.  These two panels work well both in composition and color, I think.  It took a minute!
Stash Items: G45 Typography DP,  Fabric Swatches, Vine Ribbon
The Center Panel was left blank to give the recipient (who is a crafter) an opportunity to mount photos or journal cards.  The right panel can be stamped above and below the button.
Stash Items: Button, Fabric Panels
My design intention here was to make this look like faux leather...as you can see I got a few bubbles and I forgot to add the stitching...next time.  Still, I am pleased with the outcome of this project.
Stash Items: Cardstock, G45 Typography DP

  11. There's nothing "Brown Bag" about this gorgeous mini, Chana! The trifold design is delightful, and I love the color palette, texture and thoughtful touches. You are right...the stitching would have taken this over the top. Your eye for design is remarkable!
