I really like this image! I have had it for a while but was nervous about trying to color it.  This year my other self-challenge is to, despite my lack of skill, color as many images as possible.

I originally wanted "snow" as the background.  I could not find my snow stencil anywhere.  Five seconds after I applied the paste to the hearts, the first thing I put my hand on was my snow stencil.  I  think hearts are better.  I added Stickles to the hearts and her cuffs for a little extra glitter and glam
I rarely decorate the interior of my cards. But true to my goal, I used leftover papers to create the frame and sentiment.
I will be looking for your entries at
Happy Crafting!
Challenges Entered:

Die: Picture Frame
Stencil:  Maska Stencil - Hearts
Paper: Authentique - "Fresh"  (Retired)
Other Stuff I used
Picket Fence - Jill Girl

  1. That is a gorgeous stamp and you colouring it beautifully Love your design and yes those elusive products when you want them is one of my problems too, and you know the other day you saw it, I love the hearts though nice job.

    1. Thanks, Barbara! The fact that it was in the box with my stamp and dies sets and not in the drawer with my stencils was a big part of the problem! :D)

  2. haha i am chuckling at the fact that you found the snow stencil the minute AFTER you subbed out something else! but i LOVE the hearts and agree they're even BETTER! good on you practicing coloring... it's my weakest thing and i'm trying to do it more but... it's still my weakest thing lol! ♥

  3. Thanks, Lauren! I am not really interested in becoming a marker artist, I just want to get some color on my images and keep it moving. But I will keep watching tutorials...one of these days!
