2020 Stash Party #47 - Sending Love - Playing with Foils and Vellum

Hello, Crafty Peeps!
Today, I decided to CASE a project that I saw on YouTube! I wanted to do some more foiling and I wanted to work on focal groupings!  This project gave me the opportunity to do both and to use some of my vellum scraps.
To integrate my patterned paper into the design, I used colored copier paper on the inside.
The element that drew me to this project was the curved bottom on the front.  I also liked the idea of coloring the vellum and using alcohol to give it a marbled look!  The patterned paper was also a nice addition to the focal group. I also used this project to practice mixing my foils on my projects!  I decided to use a die-cut on my face panel because I needed to add depth to the project!  I love my doodle flowers and leaves die!  On the inside of the card, I used the die-cut word "Love" with a small foiled heart!

To further integrate my patterned paper into the design, I used a piece of colored copier paper.  I was so happy to find one that matched so perfectly!

All of my foiled pieces were created using home-printed toner paper and my Scotch Laminator. I use parchment paper as a carrier but you can also use copier paper.

Thanks so much for visiting!

    1. Thanks, Faith! I am in love with that green foil. I have had it since we closed our retail shop back in 2005. I use it sparingly because I am not sure I can match that color!
