Hello, Crafty Peeps!
I was filming a product review and decided the best way to showcase the paper was to create an actual card. It is not much in the way of cardmaking, since the paper had to be the focus, but still, I rather like it!
I am a huge fan of Kraft Cardstock and this Desert Storm color is one of my favorites. I like this color because it is a very light brown that allows ink colors to maintain more of their intensity.
This cardstock is super smooth, so blending the background was easy, and layering on stencils and stamps was a breeze! Since this was a product review, I had to keep embellishments to a minimum. I had no plan when I went into this, I just grabbed what was in front of me as I filmed.
I kept looking at this card. I knew something was missing. It finally dawned on me that I had forgotten to ink around the edges of "Fig. 4." I had already submitted the review. I corrected that error for this post. It is funny how a little thing like that can make such a big difference in a project. At least in my mind!
I corrected that error for this post but my lighting was a bit off!
I kept the interior simple because my main point was to show how the paper reacts with various inks.
I like it when I am not trying to create a card and I create a card that I like! I guess "necessity truly is the mother of creation!"
Thanks for stopping by!
Hugz,
Chana Malkah
