What's On Your Workdesk Wednesday - WOYWW #776

 Hello, Fellow WOYWWers!

Julia has created a wonderful hop that allows us to take a few minutes to sip our coffee or tea and eat our cookies, biscuits, or bagels while we check out the creative pursuits of our fellow WOYWWERS! Click HERE to find out more about WOYWW.

I missed last week.  We are headed into Pesach (Passover), and between cleaning and taking classes, little time is left for much else.    So here I am trying to get all the leaven out of the house, and my husband comes home from the store with donut holes and sandwich cookies!  His defense: "Well, Pesach doesn't start until the 22nd.  They will all be eaten long before that!"

ON MY DESK

I needed a break from my Pesach planning, so I worked on my faux leather journal project.

I found this awesome faux leather on Temu and wanted to create some small journals.  I haven't done any actual bookbinding in a while.

This is my favorite, I think!

I created this planner in 2022.  I plan to make my new planners the same size but cover them in faux leather!

---------------
I managed to get my Spring Planner set up! I think I will be in this one until September!
---------------
I am also keeping a separate wellness journal!
It feels great to have time to plan and journal.

I won't be able to participate in WOYWW next week, as Wednesday is the second day of Pesach!  So, I wish all of you two amazing weeks.
Peace, Out!
Hugz,
Chana Malkah

  2. So many journals! and all lovely. What is the faux leather from Temu like? Is if actually leather like or more...plastic-y? Curious :) We'll miss you next week but enjoy the time with family and in celebration!
    Happy WOYWW!

  8. Had to laugh at your husband's reasoning. He forgets that while he's busy eating what he's brought in, he's not eating what's already at home and helping you clear it! Wishing you a peaceful and uplifting Passover.

  9. HI Chana! You got to be first today! I've never been anywhere near first! Sounds like a lot of work getting ready for Passover, but I'm glad you still have time to be creative. Your planners are gorgeous! I have given up on planners since I've retired, there's nothing much to plan anymore! Just a note about Temu, have you Googled reviews? They seem to steal a lot of things from other people and then sell at knock off prices. Anyway, the faux leather is beautiful and made beautiful covers. Have a wonderful day, and eat those donuts holes and cookies up! Have a wonderful Passover, Lindart #18

  11. How fab are those faux leathers, they look so real! I'm not sure I could manage more that one planner at a time so I tip my hat to you! I hope Pesach is easier than it sounds, I suspect that a week without leavened products will make you feel good!
