WOYWW #812 _ Popup Gift Gard Holder - Suite Orange

 Happy New Year!

Posting a project at WOYWW is a great way to start my new year of crafting!  I hope my life will be less adventurous in 2025 and I can dedicate myself to crafting consistently.  My one and only resolution is to work on building my YouTube channel.  I am not looking for tons of followers; I just want to keep adding content.

The last time I posted at WOYWW was in April of 2024.  Since then, the founder has stepped back from managing the hop, and Sarah has stepped up to keep WOYWW going.  I was happy to see that the blog hop will continue.  It is a great place to gain inspiration and meet some fantastic people!
I am starting 2025 by returning to the material that started me making cards in 1998: wallpaper!
I should have embossed the paper on my butterfly, but it still looks nice.  This vinyl wallpaper is pretty and delicate.  I didn't want to do much to it.
I wish I had more of this fabulous textured vinyl paper.  However, since I work from sample books, I only have one sheet of each design.

Wallpaper is fun and easy to work with!  I plan to create as many cards as possible from my "Orange" sample book.  Each one will be a different card fold, interaction, or cut!

Like A Diamond In The Sky! Acetate Window Cardf!

Hello, Crafty Makers!

This Christmas card-making season has been fun!  I learned a few new fancy folds, worked with coloring media I have not previously used, and I found new ways to present my snowflakes!

This card is stunning in real life!    I had planned to create another using gold mirror paper, but I had to get the order done and packaged.  The good thing is Winter just started for us two days ago, so I can use this design for a winter greeting!
This window card is easy to create, but it looks like a lot of work.  The most important supply needed is double-sided adhesive sheets for the die cuts!
I used my old Fiskars corner scissors to decorate the note panel.  I layered that on top of a piece of mirror card.  I like this design.  I find it to be elegant!
Thanks, so much for stopping by!

MERRY CHRISTMAS! Gift Card Pull Up With A Tag!

 Hello, Crafty Peeps!

My sister (in-law) requested two more gift card holders. This reindeer was perfect for the vellum paper I used on this project!
It is difficult to see in the photograph, but the vellum paper actually creates the impression of a soft, snowy background
My sister wanted to include a personal note, so I created a tag that will be revealed when the card is opened.  I placed the stamped sentiment on the flap to eliminate all that white space!  The background paper is from another set of promotional designer papers I received from Amazon!

HAPPY HOLIDAYS!
Chanukah starts at sundown on December 25th.  I will light my first candle and begin our eight-day celebration of the lighting of the Menorah.

Peace On Earth - A Christmas Pull-Up Gift Card!

 Hello, Crafty Makers!
Several fabulous Christmas papers, stamps, and dies were dropped into the Amazon Vine program this past July. I requested them to have fresh supplies for my annual Christmas card gift to my Sister-In-Law.
The papers used to create this card were among my favorites. The colors remind me of the traditional colors associated with Chanukah.

The beautiful Dove die was a promotional item. I love that this die can be used in various themes throughout the year. I have received several promotional items from Threetols and love its products. They are well-made and affordable.

This card is 5"x 7". I had to trim about 3/8" from my paper, which is not noticeable. I chose this card style because it allowed me to preserve the fabulous design.
The gift card is "pulled up" for a dramatic reveal when the card is opened.

The card has two pockets. One pocket for the gift card and a second inside the bottom flap.
I created this card in the 5"x7" and A2 sizes.  Both are easily constructed, and the visual impact of the reveal is fantastic!

Warm Home, Warm Winter: Easel Card With A Twist

 Hello, Crafty Mates!

My search for inspiration has been very fruitful!  I found some new fun fold ideas, and my mojo is returning!   This new fun fold easel card was one of my finds.  It is the brainchild of Janie, The Craft Princess! I already know this will be one of my go-to card styles!

Lays flat for mailing!  I used craft foam on my images, and the card fits nicely in a 5 x 7 envelope!

This easel card is easy to create and fun to style!
I love the visual impact of this fun fold!  I can't wait to try other themes!

WARM WINTER WISHES! IT'S BEANIE COLD HERE!

 Hello, Ya'll

It is freezing in the South, and I am glad we are having a proper winter. We are guaranteed beautiful Azaleas and Peach Blossoms in the spring if we have cold weather for the next two months. Spring in Atlanta is my favorite season!

Alas, I am getting ahead of myself. It is 34 degrees, and The Hubster set the thermostat in my studio at 70.  I m going to hurt that man!😉I put it at 72, and I dared him to come back up here "messin'" with me!  I did find a warm project to take my mind off the "thermostat" war.

I found the design for this adorable Beanie at Positively Papercraft! I wish I had photographed the glitter on my pom pom better.

I love how easily the design can be changed by simply using a different paper and an embossing folder for the beanie's cuff.

This is a cute project!  I only made one for my SIL, and she was slightly disappointed.  I will make one or two more for her if I have time!

Thanks so much for Stopping By!

Alcohol Ink Christmas Card Panels - A Ciara T. Designs Tutorial

 Hello, Crafty Makers!
Each year at Christmas time, I create cards for my favorite Sister-in-law! I always make each year's offering a little different than the year before. I struggled with designing her "bulk" cards this year until I started following:
I love working with alcohol inks but have yet to use them to create interesting Christmas cards

These cards are easy to create, especially if you already have Alcohol-Ink Panels. Even if you have to create new panels, the process does not take long, and the results are stunning!

I created several cards using a large snowflake die.  The center portion of that die was too pretty to toss, but I was stuck in the "mojo" wilderness" trying to determine how to use these pretties.  Ciara's tutorial was a great find.  I was not only able to use the snowflake cut-out, but I also used scrap mirror paper from previous cards.

HAPPY HOLIDAYS: LET IT SNOW (A Place To Start Holiday Challenge)

 Hello, Fellow Crafters!

I have managed to fall behind in practically everything. I dedicated a lot of time to the past elections, and even though my side lost, I feel good about my efforts.  Also, since my work is year-round, year in and year out, I only have a little time for past regrets.
The quickest way to catch up was to force myself to create gifts for my doctor and the infusion nurses, who have done a fabulous job keeping my hope alive this past year!  My little gift bags have become one of our traditions!  Everyone loves Kraft bags, so I am using those again this year.

Dr. S.:  I always try to find unique things that match his humor.
Traveler's Notebook

The nurses' bags included Pens, Charms, Cups, and handmade Candles!

I am pretty pleased with my "Let It Snow" theme.
One of my Amazon promotional items was a Kraft tag collection!  These tags saved time and coordinated perfectly with my gift bags!

I Look forward to seeing your creations in our Happy Holiday Challenge at
