Anyway, I deported DH from my studio, found my Kraft paper and then spent two days unable to come up with a design. Guylou just gave the team a wonderful collection of new images (she is so generous) but nothing was coming out right. Finally, I decided that I would just make a really simple, basic card that I could give to one of my staff who just had a birthday. She likes anything with "fairies" and I thought this would be perfect!
Challenge Deadline:
You have until 10:00 pm on June 28th to link your project. Please make sure your project matches the requirements before you link it.
How to participate:
You can enter only ONE project per challenge, but if you use a Guylou's Inimitability digistamp, your project will count for two entries. If you don't have one of her digistamps and your budget is tight; please check her online store where several freebies are available.

A winner will be selected randomly and will win:
A $10.00 gift certificate from Guylou's online store

****You can win a free digis! Here's how: Enter a project in Guylou's Challenge and then come back here and leave a comment letting me know your entry #. I will have a random drawing for up to three winners****\

Hi Chana! I thoroughly enjoyed your description of the discussion with your DH! It sounds suspiciously familiar - lol! Good thing they are pretty understanding! Your card is fantastic! I really like the bright colors you worked with! They pop right off the page!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Carla!
ReplyDeleteHa ha ha.....loved your story! Mine's a definite keeper (39+ years), but he certainly teases me about my 'stuff'. All in good fun though. I think your card is just perfect! Your coworker will love it. thanks for sharing!

Simple and basic it may be but that works for me!! Glad you found the kraft, even with the 'distraction' :)
ReplyDeleteYour husband sounds like a great guy :) I like the colors on your fairy's wings. The embossing and lace are just right - this is a very pretty card.

LOL. I can't tell you how many times I have "misplaced" something I know I have somewhere. Then I just use something else, and it never fails to turn up shortly thereafter. That makes me so mad!
