Never Forget Kindness
This post is not for any challenge, it is just a few words I would like to share with my fellow crafters!
I love being on design teams. I love doing challenges and chatting with my teammates. But, on a few rare occasions, I have found that some people tend to forget that we are all volunteers on these teams. It would different if we were working for Spellbinder's or Sizzix or any of the large companies, but most of us are not and it is very sad when Owners and DT coordinators lose sight of this.
I just want to remind all of us who are "volunteering" in leadership roles that this is supposed to be fun and if you find it necessary to demean other crafters, then maybe you should examine where you are right now. It could be that the fun has gone out of it for you and not for everybody else.
This is a hobby, not a job, so please, let us Never Forget to be Kind to one Another.
Hugz,
Chana

ReplyDeleteComments are on point, Chana! Goodness, why would one do this if not for the love involved? :^)

Gorgeous card Chana and totally agree with that heartfelt sentiment - art should always be creative self-expression and not a demanding, critical task master. Plus kindness costs nothing and is far-reaching :)
ReplyDeleteBeautiful card, but all your projects are works of art! Nice sentiment and I agree wholeheartedly with your post.
