Hello, Crafty Peeples!
I am a little late posting to the current challenge at 613 Avenue Create. Sometimes, I have far too many ideas floating around in my head and I am not always successful at organizing them and that slows down my creative process. Not necessarily a good thing when you have deadlines.
For this project, I drew inspiration from the challenge over at Shopping Our Stash. I am on that Design Team and our challenge this weeks was to use toilet paper or paper towels in our design. While working wtih the TP, I remembered a project I had seen on Tammy Tutterow's blog and thought it might be interesting to try to recreate it using toilet paper as the designer paper
This is Tammy's Project
For my project, I used a tag instead of a panel and used toilet paper as my focal.
Normally, I make my own cabinets, but, in the interest of time, it was more feasible to use the small TH Cabinets. I used the toilet paper core, however, you could use chipboard as backing for the toilet paper!
I fussy cut the butterfly from a scrap piece of Graphic 45's Sweet Sentiments, decoupaged it, and then added 3D ink to the wings.
I just love Teresa Collins' Linen Papers and I used that to cover the front and back of my tag.
HOW TO COVER THE GRAPHIC 45 TAG
ALIGN THE TAG ON THE EDGE OF YOUR PAPER.
TRACE THE TAG
BE SURE TO TRACE THE GROMMET HOLE
Center your hole in a 1/2" circle punch. Apply paper to tag.
Decorate as desired.
