Shopping Our Stash - Challeng 198 - Texture Me

Hello, Crafty Peeples!

SHOPPING OUR STASH

We continue to help you reduce your stash and form new relationships with techniques and tools you may have forgotten.  This week, we want you to:  Use Your Oldest Embossing Supply (folder, powder, or even a stylus and brass template.)

 Rest and Relaxation
I used a Brass Stencil (Sea Shell) purchased in 1999.  It is wonderful to use when creating stationery sets.  On this card, it is a "pocket" in which I can put candy or a tag.  I have a lot of these brass stencils and it was really difficult to choose which one to use.  I still enjoy using my lightbox, stylus, and solid brass stencils.

Supplies:
Paper:  Webster Pages - Collection Triple Pack (In Love, Palm Beach, Game On)
Stencil: American Traditional Brass Stencil - Sea Shell
Twine
Ephemera (R&R is from the Pink Paislee Nantucket Collection)

So, now, pull out your old embossing folders, texture plates, or brass stencils and let us see if you remember how to use them.   Looking forward to see what you create!

  1. Yay for using a brass stencil and stylus! I love the depth you got with the shell. I need to think about using my brass stencils more, now that I've actually found them and put them in a box I can SEE!
