Hello, Crafty Peeps!
2020 will soon be over, thank goodness, and I still have a lot of equipment and supplies in my stash that I have yet to use. My Go Press and Foil machine is one such item. I have had it for over a year now and only used it when I unboxed it and foiled a small die just to make sure it worked. Two weeks ago, I used it to create a fun card for my grandson's 16th Birthday. Now, I have been infected with the foiling bug.
Last week, I decided that I would practice my foiling. I combined two foiling methods in this project. I used my Go Press and Foil for the sentiment and I used my printer and laminating machine to create the foiled flower and leaves. I have a commercial hot stamp press and while the foil will not work in my Go Press and Foil machine, it works beautifully in my laminator and in my Minc Mini!
I have started on my two Christmas card orders and I plan to use foiling and embossing to elevate my designs!
Thanks for stopping by!

DeleteWow. Really gorgeous.
ReplyDeleteHi Chana! Pleasantly surprised to see you posting! Happy Birthday to your grandson! What a lovely card, it is utterly gorgeous! The foiling is awesome. And that background is a work of art! I'm looking at your laminator. I have a Scotch cheaper red box never opened yet but bought to do the foiling with my laser printer, lol. Hoping mine doesn't jam since it doesn't say never jam like yours, yikes! hahaha Have a wonderful weekend and enjoy your family and holy days! XXO
ReplyDeleteThanks, Aimeslee! I love my laminator. The Minc supplies are so expensive! I don't need carriers when I use the Scotch for foiling. I just put the die cut and foil in a piece of folded parchment paper and I a good to go!
