Hello, Crafty Makers!
"Someday we'll find it, the rainbow connection.
The lovers, the dreamers, and me!
All of us under its spell, we know that it's probably magic!"
Kermit, The Frog
It is time for another fortnight challenge at
RAINBOWS
I decided on a non-traditional approach to this challenge.
One Bloom
I think of my card as a deconstructed Rainbow. The background was created using a stencil and Distress Oxide Inks. The sunflower image was already cut and colored for use on an abandoned project. The sentiment is from an old stamp set that I have had for almost 15 years.
This project came together quickly! CAS is not my thing, but sometimes a project chooses its own direction.
My teammates have created fun projects for your inspiration. Please join us! Everybody loves rainbows!
Ooh, Distress Oxides gave a good soft rainbow look!!! Love it! And nice touch with the stencil yielding the rainbow effect! Good job using the flowers from an abandoned project!
