Shopping Our Stash #205 - Cute Critter Alert!

Hello, Crafty Peeps!
Our challenge this week at SHOPPING OUR STASH is "Cute Critter Alert."

Cute Critter Sticky Note Pad Holder
(repurposed drug packaging)
Stamp: COMOTION Rubber Stamps
As a rule, I don't make "cute or critter" creations, so this was a real challenge for me!  But, since I did need a holder for my sticky notepads, I thought this little guy would look cute on my work table.   I can report that I no longer  lose my pads under the pile of stuff that is usually on my table.  I completed this project about two weeks ago and I have formed the habit of tearing of a sheet and then placing the pad back in my holder, YAY!
I wanted the sides to look like wood, so I used Tattered Angels' Plain Jane Baseboard Matte Mists, Clay and Bittersweet, to get desired effect.   The paper is from my stash, I don't remember the pack.  i usually write the name on the back of the "orphans and widows" but this time I did not!

Thanks for stopping by!

  9. What a cute doggie image, complete with shades! If I had this sitting on my desk, I'd have to smile every time I looked at it! That's a fun way to keep your post-it notes in sight too!
