Quote For Today
"Don't let your wins go to your head
because your losses go to your heart! "~ Will Smith

HELLO,  ALL!!!  HAPPY WOYWW DAY!
There isn't much on my desk this week.  It is ELECTION NIGHT here in Georgia!  I simply cannot watch. By the time you read this, it will all be over but the crying! Oh, and probably the recounting and recounting, and lawsuits and dumb, irrational statements by the Orange Medlar.

I am running for a seat in my local Democratic Party.  I have no idea why I am doing this except that I want to start working now on the 2022 Mid-Terms.  I have no chance of winning but at least they will know that I am serious about my work with the Party!
Anyhow, I decided to distract myself by doing a little review before my Hebrew Grammar class tomorrow.  So what is on my desk right now is my Chumash, an old workbook, and my notebook.  My attention keeps wandering.  I think I will just go to bed and face the results in the morning!

Enjoy the remainder of your week!  Thanks for stopping by!
Hugz,
Chana Malkah

  4. Well, I take it the Orange Meddler is the man whose name begins with T. Oh dear, it certainly sounds as if he is going to still be a pain in the proverbial. The sooner the 20th is here and the better for you over there (and us too)
Happy New Year to you, stay safe and well,
    Hugs, Neet 17 xx

  6. Wow - that's a different desk this week and so interesting. I had to go and look up what a Chumash was, and so today is a learning day and I have a new understanding of the Hebrew faith that I did not know before. Set yourself some study and break times, study for no more than 30 mins in one hit, and jobs a good'un. It helps my daughter with being less distracted.

  7. I am avoiding the news as well, but I have enough on my plate at the moment.
Hope all goes well with your Hebrew, my husband and I tried to learn the basics when he was studying for his degree. I thought if I learnt alongside it might encourage him .... he was much better then me!!!
Have a good week, stay safe and warm

  9. My daughter lives near Seattle, up in the wilds where its deep in snow. I fear for her...not so much because of bears and other things but at why a certain Person, is still there causing trouble. Over here, once you've been voted out the removal van is waiting at Number 10 the very next day! Thank you for following! I thought I was following you...I am now!
Have a Happy WOYWW. Stay Safe. Keep on crafting Happy 2021!((Lyn)) #25

  10. Praying for a Senate flip - nothing would make me happier than to see Moscow Mitch on his way out the door! Well...except maybe the entire 'orange family' on their way out in orange jumpsuits! Good for you, for running for office. That would terrify me. If I was a GA gal, I'd campaign for you!!! Hope you slept well, and have great election results today - a lot rests on this one! Hugs...!

  13. Hi Chana! I too could not watch the elections, and I am dreading what today (Wednesday) will bring in Congress. I heard that at least Kelly won't be in the Senate (thank goodness!), I haven't heard yet about the other race. But we know, there will be recount after recount, especially with such close races. Good for you learning Hebrew! I remember when I was about 11 or 12 I tried to learn Hebrew on my own, but gave up pretty quickly. I've never been good with languages. Good luck with your own race! Have a wonderful week! Lindart #35

  15. The Orange Medlar! I nearly choked on my tea! I think by now you will be happy with Georgia’s results, as you say, apart from the ridiculous recounts and law suits. Am super impressed that you’re going to stand, I do admire you for actually putting yourself up there to walk the walk, well done you.

  16. Increasingly I feel that Trump has a problem but sadly thinks it's everyone else that has it. Time he packed his bags! Good luck with your ambitions, you're one brave lady. Take care and have a happy woyww, Angela x19x

  17. I hope your Hebrew studies are going well. Seeing your books laid out reminded me of the 5 years of Biblical Hebrew studies I did back in the 1990s. I'm afraid I'm pretty rusty these days but I do know what to look up and where, when the need arises. It is a truly wonderful language and the very letters carry such deep meaning. One of my UFOs is a Hebrew Aleph-Bet sampler and I simply must get it finished!

    Happy WOYWW,

  18. Hi Chana, definitely a busy lady - and no wonder your attention was wandering and you needed distraction! I hope you hot the result you wanted. I've stopped watching news - too much doom and gloom. My husband updates me on what I need to know. Hope your yarn arrives soon and you can start on your pastel blanket-that is definitely a nice distraction! Have a lovely week, Heather xx #14
