Shopping Our Stash - School or Office/Workplace

Hello, Crafty Peeples!
Time for some more stash reduction!  This week at Shopping Our Stash we are giving you the opportunity to get rid of some of the paper clips and binder clips that you ordered by the gross because they looked so cute on cards in the crafting magazine!  Oh, yes, and we all need to use those paper punches that give us the little notepaper punch at the top.  I have three because obviously the Fiskars punch would be entirely different from the Martha Stewart and EK Success would be different from both of those.  So get out all that "Chalkboard" paper you purchased and put it to good use.

I still have not used all the G45 ABC Primer Paper I purchased.   For some odd reason, when I see it in a store's clearance section, I buy more.  Guess what?  I didn't use any ABC Primer paper on this card either! Go Figure!  (LOL)
BACK TO SCHOOL

The apple hides the slot that the tab loops through.  This is a fun card style and I plan to try it on a vintage/shabby chic design.

Everything used in this project has been playing hide and go seek in my studio for over a year!
Oh, one exception, the embellishment value pack is only three months old.

Back To School - Outlawz Greetings Challenge

Hello, Crafty Peeples!

I want to share two projects that I made for the Monday Greetings Challenge over at The Outlawz.  Finally, an opportunity to use my Graphic 45 ABC Primer papers.  I only have a few sheets, not quite enough to make the 3D project I had planned, so I've just been sitting on it.  The Bookplate Holder Idea is my very own!
I also made a really simple card for my second project because it allowed me to practice the "Bordered Sentiment" Technique.  I was pleased with both outcomes.

BOOKPLATE HOLDER
WARNING, WARNING!!! LOTS OF PICTURES
I wanted to see if the tab card would work with a landscape orientation...and it does!  YaY Me!

The Bookplate in the center is removable

Project #2 - "BORDERED SENTIMENT

This technique really does make your sentiment POP!  I will have to experiment with a few more sentiment stamps!  You can use any size sentiment and still get an eye popping design!

A is for Apple! Outlawz Back To School Challenge!

IMAGE BY ROBERT JACKSON - LIL BACK TO SCHOOL
Super fun challenge at The Outlawz Greeting this week!  We are making Back To School Cards.  I get such a kick seeing all the little munchkins heading off for the first day of school.  My eldest grandson is in the 2nd grade this year and it is funny to hear him talk about the "little" kids at school.  This year he moved to the BIG SCHOOL building and has his OWN LOCKER (not some dumb cubby!)  So He's a BIG KID!  So cute!

Our sponsor this month is Just Some Lines!  Check out the challenge.  I would love to see your work there!  Thanks for stopping by!]
