Path of Positivity

Hello, Crafty Peeples,

I am just delighted to share this post with you.  I was asked by one of my online crafting buddies, Lisa Decosse, if I would be a Guest Designer for her challenge Path of Positivity.  I love the idea of this challenge and I was impressed with the materials sent to me.  The list of sponsors & prizes is awesome:

Creative Bug Digital Stamps (10 images), Ike's World (3 Images), Fresh Brewed Designs (3 Images), Decosse's Dynomite Doodles (1 Digital Paper).  Please visit the challenge to see how to qualify for these prizes.  And, as if the above is not enough, Decosse's Dynamic Doodles is providing one (1) digital sentiment for every single person who enters the challenge!  Whoa!

The Guest Sponsor this week is Fresh Brewed Designs

The theme for this week's Challenge is Optimism, and I chose to use the following quote:
"It is better to be an optimist who is sometimes wrong, than a pessimist who is always right"

I decided to make a Journal Card Holder

I found the tutorial at G45.  The tutorial there was for a business card holder, but since I am retired, I decided to do journal cards instead.  I think this would make a wonderful gift for a crafter.
I knew this image would be perfect for my chosen quote.  The pocket has an opening at the top, so you can put in your favorite picture or colored image.
The Papers, Cameo Pendant, and Flower are from the Prima "Fairy Rhyme Collection".
The Journal cards are also from the Prima "Fairy Rhyme Collection"

Please stop by Path of Positivity and check out the fabulous projects and leave a comment! Your comment alone qualifies you for a wonderful prize.  Thanks, Lisa, for inviting me!
Hugz,
Chana

  4. Chana,

My jaw is still dropped to the floor over what you have created as our guest design team member this month over on the Path of Positivity. Your project is absolutely stunning and I can't even imagine the time it took for you to create it. The recipient will definitely be one lucky person indeed. I can't even focus on one particular thing I love because I love it ALL and Blogger would cut me off long before I had extolled on the beauty of each element. Thanks for being part of our journey this month. Can't wait to see what you come up for the midway.

    Hugs,
    Lisa

  6. Oh wow, Chana, this is a jaw dropping gorgeous design. So love the textures on the front and the kind of shabby vintage feel to it. And of course the way you did the inside with Lisa's wonderful sentiment is just so creative. We are very honoured to have you as our guest designer this month. Thanks so much.
    Optimistic Hugs

  9. Hey Chana, I haven't heard back from you and I'm a little worried about you. I've been trying to email you but a couple have been returned. If you get this comment can you try emailing me again? You've got my address. In the interim, I'll try one more attempt at sending the email. Maybe this time it will go through.

    Hugs,
    Lisa
